Negative-contrast electron microscopy indicated that they were coiled, circular filaments. They had a mean diam. of 5 to 10 nm and two predominant length classes of 640 nm and 1300 nm were found., UL https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/jgv/10.1099/0022-1317-36-3-541
