Abstract

SUMMARY

A bacteriophage specific for QM B1551 was isolated. This phage (MP-7) was a lytic phage of typical morphology and distinct stability properties. The DNA was double-stranded, with a mole % G + C of 38.9 ± 0.7 and a mol. wt. of 42 to 44 × 10.
