Abstract

SUMMARY

The 3' terminal nucleotide sequences of the three virus species of viruses representing eight serogroups of bunyaviruses (genus , Bunyaviridae) and six serogroups of nairoviruses (genus , Bunyaviridae) have been characterized. Members of the genus have conserved 3' end sequences (generally, 3' …) that differ from the conserved 3' end sequences of members of the genus (generally, 3' …).
