Abstract

SUMMARY

Characteristic ‘two-side’ electron microscope images and three-dimensional image reconstructions confirm that the surface structure of polyoma virus is based on the icosahedral = 7 lattice. Tilting experiments show that the lattice is right handed ( = 7).
